Pre-licensing training for Child Care Programs


Event Description

The pre-licensing training is required to be completed by all child care owners prior to submitting a licensing application. The goal of this training is to lay a solid foundation of child care knowledge on which you can plan and build your child care program.  Each module in the training covers related topics that must be considered prior to beginning the process to become a licensed program. This training replaced the previous Plan of Operation Training. This training contains the following modules:

  1. The business of operating a child care program
  2. How to apply to become a family child care provider
  3. Child Care Center licensing rule review
  4. Step up to quality
  5. Publicly funded child care
