Ohio Quality Guidelines for Ohio's Afterschool Programs can assist with setting benchmarks for providers serving children from elementary age through high school age, to use for self–assessment and quality improvement. The tool is also aimed toward program funders, both public and private, to use in evaluating programs and/or quality–improvement initiatives for funding purposes.
Ohio Quality Guidelines for Ohio's Afterschool Program

Ohio Kids on the Move: Physical Activity Guidelines for Afterschool Programs is a collaboration between the Ohio Afterschool Network (OAN) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). These guidelines are not requirements, but rather recommendations to support afterschool programs with activities and resources to increase the physical activities of their children.

Ohio's Infant and Toddler Guidelines–Early Experiences Last a Lifetime captures infant/toddler development in three distinct ages of infancy throughout six developmental domains.
Ohio's Infant & Toddler Guidelines

The Standards of Care & Teaching for Ohio's Infants and Toddlers identifies six program standards that are essential for early care and education programs to establish and maintain to support the development and learning of infants/toddlers. It builds on Ohio's current licensing standards to promote positive outcomes for infants and toddlers.
Ohio Infant & Toddler Standards of Care

Ohio's Infant & Toddler Field Guide–Strengthening Professional Practices of Infant Toddler Care Teachers presents 69 vignettes, or scenarios, that capture a moment in time in an infant/toddler program based on real–life child care challenges. The vignettes enable readers to “see” and “hear” children and teachers during play, learning and routines. Each vignette poses questions and teaching practices to address the challenging issue. Then the vignette is revised depicting a more developmentally appropriate child–teacher encounter. Vignettes address infant (Birth 8 months), mobile infant ( 6–18 months), and toddler (16–36 months).
