The Ohio Approved designation represents the state's consolidated approval process to ensure early care and education and afterschool professionals receive high quality professional development to maximize the the learning and development of children in their care. Certain professional development offerings, such as basic health and safety, may not receive Ohio Approved designation yet may be accepted by credentialing agency and may receive training inservice hours.
A training organization representative or the author of the training can apply for Ohio Approved designation through his/her Ohio Professional Registry profile.
