Child Care Stabilization Grant

OCCRRA is excited about the opportunity to support Ohio’s Child Care Stabilization Sub-Grants.  The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), Office of Family Assistance, was approved through the State of Ohio Controlling Board and Legislative Appropriation to spend these federal stabilization relief funds.

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 was signed into law on March 11, 2021, issuing three streams of federal funding to states through the Child Care and Development Fund which include Supplemental Discretionary, Stabilization, and Mandatory/Matching funds. ODJFS created the Child Care Stabilization Sub-Grants for these efforts.

The Application for Phase 1 Stabilization Sub-Grants opened in the Ohio Professional Registry on December 1, 2021.  The application for Phase 2 will open on February 1, 2022.
