Child Care Stabilization Grant
OCCRRA is excited about the opportunity to support Ohio’s Child Care Stabilization Sub-Grants. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), Office of Family Assistance, was approved through the State of Ohio Controlling Board and Legislative Appropriation to spend these federal stabilization relief funds.
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 was signed into law on March 11, 2021, issuing three streams of federal funding to states through the Child Care and Development Fund which include Supplemental Discretionary, Stabilization, and Mandatory/Matching funds. ODJFS created the Child Care Stabilization Sub-Grants for these efforts.
Phase 3 is underway. Please see the Phase 3 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for additional information. Once a program spends their grant funds, they should complete their Phase 3 Reconciliation. There are two tutorials to assist programs with their reconciliation. They include the Phase 3 Reconciliation Tutorial which shows how to navigate and submit the reconciliation as well as the Phase 3 Documentation Tutorial.
